Marketing Manager (B2B SaaS)

Description

Our client is an impact-driven fintech company with a mission to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their finances, they are seeking a Marketing Manager to establish an in-house marketing function aimed at driving end-to-end sales enablement. You will be instrumental in developing and executing the marketing strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets. Collaborating closely with the sales team, you will focus on acquiring new customers, generating leads, and enhancing brand visibility within the employee benefits sector.

This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy and demand generation campaigns to drive new customer acquisition , pipeline growth, and brand awareness
  • Establish a thought-leadership, content-driven approach to accelerate lead generation and solidify the company’s position as a market leader
  • Design and implement sales enablement initiatives to enhance sales velocity, conversion rates, and overall deal closure
  • Create and optimize and nurture customer engagement programs to support lead generation, customer retention and upselling efforts
  • Manage and optimize the marketing budget and technology stack to achieve growth targets and operational efficiencies
  • Define and measure key performance metrics to track progress against objectives and inform data-driven decision-making processes

Skills, Experience & Requirements

  • Proven experience in designing and executing B2B marketing strategies targeting SMEs and large corporate markets
  • Demonstrated success in building pipeline growth and increasing brand awareness, particularly within startup or scale-up environments
  • Expertise in developing high-quality thought leadership-driven content to drive demand generation
  • Strong proficiency in building multimedia sales enablement resources to support sales efforts
  • Experience in executing marketing initiatives
  • Exceptional communication skills , both verbal and written, with the ability to deliver presentations at a senior level
  • Excellent attention to detail and project management skills
  • Results-oriented mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage stakeholders , and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset
