Our UK-based client provides Financial Services, Recruitment Solutions and Regulatory Compliance, their team of experienced professionals delivers customised, results-driven solutions designed to meet specific business objectives. They are looking for a proactive and highly organised Virtual Assistant to support their consultancy and recruitment functions. This is a full-time remote role with flexible working hours. You will help manage calendars, maintain the CRM system, coordinate podcast-related tasks, and assist with general admin duties to keep daily operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate is organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple tasks without dropping the ball. You should be confident working remotely, able to work independently, and keen to support a busy team by freeing up their time to focus on core business activities.
This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage calendars and schedule appointments for the team
- Maintain and update the CRM system regularly
- Coordinate and organise podcast-related tasks, including guest scheduling and follow-ups
- Assist with general administrative duties to support both consultancy and recruitment activities
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date data across systems and trackers
- Act as a reliable first point of contact, providing timely responses and communication
- Support the smooth daily running of consultancy and recruitment functions
- Help free up senior team members’ time to focus on client delivery and revenue-generating tasks
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, ideally within SME, consultancy, or recruitment settings
- Practical experience managing multiple calendars and scheduling international calls/meetings
- Confident using different CRM systems e.g HubSpot and Salesforce
- Experience using recruitment and ATS platforms as well as cloud-based tools like Office 365 or Google Workspace
- Familiarity with content coordination tasks (such as podcast scheduling and guest management)
- Strong written and spoken English skills
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple tasks independently
- Proactive and able to anticipate needs without waiting for instructions
- Comfortable working remotely with good self-discipline and time management
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn; training will be provided as needed
- Experience working with UK or UAE based firms
