Our UK-based client is a leading accredited credit broker licensed by the FCA, specialising in IT leasing solutions. They provide businesses with access to hardware and software from all major national and international distributors, backed by expert technical support teams delivering both on-site and remote assistance. Their mission is to be the trusted one-stop provider for IT leasing, ensuring clients’ technology needs are supported and exceeded throughout the entire leasing term.

They are looking for an experienced SEO & Content Specialist to join their team and help drive online visibility, engagement, and organic growth across multiple digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO strategy, content marketing, keyword optimisation, and performance tracking, with the ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and external agencies.

This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with two external SEO agencies to implement technical and content recommendations across multiple websites.
  • Conduct keyword research and identify high-value search terms to guide content strategy using tools such as Ubersuggest or SEMRush.
  • Create, update, and optimise web content and blog posts for SEO performance and user engagement.
  • Upload and optimise YouTube videos for search visibility, manage and tidy the YouTube channel, and coordinate with social media colleagues for promotion.
  • Develop and maintain website pages in WordPress using Elementor, ensuring accurate and appealing presentation of content.
  • Adapt blog content for LinkedIn Articles to increase audience reach and professional engagement.
  • Review ongoing SEO performance metrics, analyse trends, and prepare monthly reports on traffic, rankings, and ROI.
  • Work with the marketing team to align SEO efforts with Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns for maximum impact.
  • Stay informed of evolving search engine algorithms, AI-driven search tools, and SEO best practices.

  • Enhance on-page optimisation and content performance.
  • Strengthen visibility and authority across search platforms.
  • Deliver actionable insights and monthly performance reporting.
  • Ensure SEO and content strategies align with wider marketing goals.

Skills, Experience & Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in SEO, or 5 years’ experience in content/marketing with proven SEO exposure.
  • Previous experience working on B2B service-based websites (not product-based).
  • Solid understanding of keyword research, on-page optimisation, and analytics tools.
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO software (e.g. SEMRush, Ubersuggest).
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Elementor, and collaboration tools such as Teams or Slack.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and time management.
  • Passionate about digital marketing, SEO innovation, and emerging technology trends such as AI-driven search.
