Our Client is a leading industrial software provider. They are seeking an Account Manager who has previously worked in the Mining Industry. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated sales professional with excellent business acumen. A thorough understanding of executing a sales campaign from business development to closure and experience of managing strategic customers is required.
This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
- You will be actioning cold calls and prospect to achieve pipeline goals
- Engaging with customers and conducting scoping sessions
- Compilation and processing of all client data
- Constant exploration of contract renewals and extension
- Identify growth and solution opportunities
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- General business acumen
- Knowledge of principles of category management
- Necessary knowledge of products and product ranges
- Computer literate with special attention to Google Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- High degree of internal client engagement
- Ability to multi task and work cross functionally
- You must be versatile enough if participation in other activities is required
