Our UK-based client is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their outbound sales team. The primary objective of the SDR is to generate qualified sales meetings by engaging B2B decision-makers through high-volume cold calling and multi-channel follow-up. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on direct outreach, is motivated by performance, and understands how to initiate consultative sales conversations that lead to real opportunities. You will be responsible for making 150–200 outbound calls per day (or maintaining a minimum of 2 hours talk time), using LinkedIn and email to follow up, and booking qualified meetings that convert into pipeline for clients. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Make 150–200 cold calls daily (or maintain 2+ hours of live talk time)
  • Follow up using a structured cadence via phone, LinkedIn, and email
  • Qualify leads based on pre-defined Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP)
  • Set 20+ quality meetings per month for client sales teams
  • Log all activities, lead status, and notes in Close CRM accurately
  • Overcome objections and develop interest through value-driven conversations
  • Collaborate with internal teams for performance reviews and strategy improvements
  • Stay accountable to individual KPIs and contribute to team performance metrics
  • Attend ongoing coaching sessions and apply feedback in real-time

Skills, Experience & Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ outbound B2B sales experience, preferably in a SaaS, tech, or lead gen environment
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding KPIs (calls, meetings booked, revenue influenced, etc.)
  • Comfortable speaking to senior decision-makers (Directors, VPs, Founders, etc.)
  • Experience with sales frameworks such as SPIN, BANT, MEDDIC, or Challenger is an advantage
  • Proficient in using CRM systems (Close, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Excellent verbal communication and persuasive conversational skills
  • Strong writing skills for follow-ups via LinkedIn and email
  • Familiarity with using sales engagement tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Loom, Google Sheets, Calendly, etc.)
  • Disciplined and self-motivated with the ability to manage time and tasks independently
  • Experience in remote work environments and comfort with asynchronous collaboration
  • Knowledge of B2B lead generation best practices
  • Track record in a remote or distributed team environment
  • Experience working in a performance-based sales culture
