Our client is a US-based, award-winning educational technology company providing a complete K–8 curriculum, assessments, and engagement tools to help schools close learning gaps. With over 260 industry awards and proven results in improving student outcomes, they work with educators nationwide to deliver innovative, effective, and affordable learning solutions. They are hiring a Remote Sales Representative to join their sponsorship team, selling school sponsorship packages to small businesses in the US market. This is a high-activity sales role, ideal for someone with strong persistence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to consistently follow a proven sales process.

This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Make at least 75 calls and send 75 emails per day to potential sponsors
  • Follow up with leads from previous outreach, maintaining accurate records in the CRM
  • Use proven sales scripts, email templates, and cadence systems to engage prospects
  • Convert inbound leads from small businesses into confirmed school sponsorships
  • Conduct occasional outbound calls when inbound leads slow down
  • Build rapport with business owners and communicate the value of school sponsorship
  • Manage and track sales activity to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets
  • Work closely with the Sponsorship Team Manager to follow the sales process consistently
  • Stay organised and prioritise outreach to maximise daily productivity
  • Represent the company professionally and uphold its mission to support schools

Skills, Experience & Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ proven sales experience, preferably in a high-volume outbound or telesales role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Neutral accent (essential for engaging with the US market)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to type at least 50 words per minute
  • Strong computer skills and confidence using online tools and CRMs
  • High level of persistence, professionalism, and resilience
  • Comfortable handling high-volume outreach daily
  • Organised and able to follow structured sales processes
  • A quiet, distraction-free home workspace with no background noise
