Our UK-based client is an award-nominated self-storage operator, recently recognised as one of the top 4 finalists in the UK for External Storage Operator of the Year 2025. They pride themselves on offering secure, flexible, and customer-friendly storage solutions.
They are now seeking a Sales Executive to join their growing team. This role is a mix of sales and customer service, handling inbound enquiries, following up with warm leads, and ensuring customers receive the highest level of support. You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager, who oversees sales, to achieve strong conversion rates and maintain the company’s excellent customer reputation.
This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls and respond to customer enquiries in a professional, friendly manner.
- Conduct outbound follow-up calls to warm leads who have visited the company website.
- Follow the company’s sales style and script to ensure a consistent and effective approach.
- Send follow-up emails to prospects and customers to secure bookings or provide further information.
- Update and maintain records in the CRM system.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting existing customers with queries.
- Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager to monitor performance and ensure standards are met.
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- A cheerful, friendly personality with a customer-first mindset.
- Naturally persistent without being pushy in sales.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales and/or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication skills with perfect written and spoken UK English.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and follow-ups.
- Proactive and willing to go the extra mile to support customers.
- Tech-savvy with experience using CRM systems and email communication.
- A genuine focus on delivering outstanding customer service, with an understanding that happy customers become advocates.
