Sales Development Representative

Our UK-based client is looking to hire a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support business growth through strategic outreach and lead generation.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in outbound engagement and appointment setting, and who is ready to contribute directly to revenue growth in a fast-paced environment.

This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and contact key decision-makers via cold calls, emails, and digital campaigns
  • Schedule warm appointments for senior leadership, including the Managing Director and Head of Production
  • Collaborate with leadership to align outreach strategy with ideal customer profiles and partnership goals
  • Maintain detailed records of all outreach activities in the CRM system, ensuring follow-ups and handovers are completed in line with service-level agreements
  • Support monthly goals, including booking 1 strategic partnership meeting per month

Performance Targets:

  • Book 4–5 qualified appointments per day via cold calling and digital outreach
  • Keep CRM continuously updated and follow-ups completed per process standards
  • Consistently meet monthly strategic appointment goals

Skills, Experience & Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in cold-calling, CRM management, and outbound lead generation
  • Experience in the automobile or manufacturing sectors is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong communication skills with a neutral or clear English accent preferred
  • Self-motivated, independent, and thrives under pressure
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with VOIP systems, CRM tools, and digital outreach platforms (e.g. LinkedIn and email)
  • Creative thinker who contributes ideas, not just execution
  • Fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new strategies and information
