Our client is an impact-driven fintech company with a mission to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their finances. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative. You will play a crucial role in driving top-of-funnel activity by booking and qualifying outbound meetings with high-level stakeholders. You will also be responsible for identifying pain points in customer employee financial wellbeing strategy, smoothly handing over qualified meetings to colleagues at the later stages of the sales funnel, and collaborating with wider teams, including leadership, marketing, and product, to provide prospect feedback to further refine the sales process.
This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Effectively identifying pain points in customer employee financial wellbeing strategy
- Smoothly handing over qualified meetings to colleagues later in the sales funnel
- Collaborating with wider teams, including leadership, marketing and product to provide prospect feedback to refine the sales process further
- Maintaining good CRM hygiene for accurate management
- Booking and qualifying outbound meetings (BANT) with high-level stakeholders at companies
- Looking to improve their employee wellbeing strategy
- Leverage tools such as Hubspot, LinkedIn, and Apollo to drive multi-channel prospecting campaigns (mix of calls, emails and LinkedIn outreach) into new accounts.
- Note: You will be responsible at first for running campaigns using the accounts of existing AEs and with time progressing to running campaigns and calls on your own account
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a SaaS Sales Development Representative
- You thrive in a start-up environment.
- Have been professionally trained, or have experience, as an outbound SaaS SDR
- Have worked toward and exceeded quota numbers in previous roles
- Are excited by a disruptive SaaS platform in the employee benefits space
- Are dedicated to learning and development with some examples of upskilling
- Clear written and verbal communication
