Description
Our UK based client is seeking a highly organised HR Administrator to support the People Team in handling key HR functions, including employee record management, onboarding, HR compliance, and reporting. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong administrative skills, and the ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
The ideal candidate is structured, detail-oriented, and proactive, with excellent communication skills and a passion for improving HR processes.
This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and payroll-related information
- Prepare and process HR documents, including employment contracts, probation letters, contract amendments, and termination letters
- Assist in updating and distributing HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
- Support HR reporting, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery of reports
- Ensure compliance with UK employment laws and company policies
- Support the onboarding process by preparing welcome kits, scheduling orientation sessions, and collecting necessary paperwork
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries, ensuring quick and effective resolution
- Maintain and update HR templates and documentation within relevant systems
- Work closely with the Operations Team on HR-related projects
- Assist in the application process for Awards & Recognitions
- Continuously seek ways to improve HR processes and enhance the employee experience
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
- Familiarity with HR software (e.g., HRIS, ATS) is a plus
- Knowledge of UK labour laws and regulations is an advantage
- Experience resolving HR queries and troubleshooting issues
