Our UK based client is seeking an Email Outreach Assistant to join their team. The primary objective of the Email Outreach Assistant is to secure guest posts on niche-relevant websites through personalised email outreach. This is done to obtain backlinks for their clients, supporting their SEO and digital marketing goals. The role involves working from a list of target websites provided by prospectors, conducting research on these websites, and crafting tailored emails to establish collaboration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and enjoys written communication. They should be able to conduct thorough research to understand the needs of potential partners and craft personalised outreach strategies. A proactive and organised individual who thrives on achieving measurable results will excel in this role. This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Create and send personalised email pitches to target websites, ensuring communication aligns with the website’s tone and relevance
- Follow up persistently and professionally to secure guest post opportunities
- Develop creative and client-relevant article titles tailored to the target website’s audience
- Coordinate with writers to ensure content meets website guidelines
- Send completed articles to target websites and follow up to ensure timely publication
- Research target websites to identify alignment with client industries and backlink goals
- Maintain and update Google Sheets with the status of outreach efforts, ensuring accuracy and transparency
- Monitor guest post publications to verify backlinks and record success rates
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Secure guest post placements on relevant websites through effective and manual email outreach
- Build high-quality backlinks for clients, aligning with their digital marketing strategies
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, ensuring streamlined operations
