A UK-based, culture-first recruitment agency is looking for a dynamic and experienced Recruitment Consultant to join their growing team. This role goes beyond just ticking skill boxes — we’re looking for someone who understands the power of cultural fit and thrives in matching the right talent with the right companies.
You’ll be working across industries such as Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Technology, placing top-tier professionals into roles that align with both company goals and culture.
This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Source and attract candidates through job boards, social platforms, referrals, and professional networks
- Screen CVs and applications to assess both skills and cultural alignment
- Conduct initial interviews to evaluate suitability for client roles
- Prepare and extend job offers, and manage negotiations when required
Client Collaboration
- Partner with clients to deeply understand their hiring needs and values
- Help craft job descriptions that capture both the role and the culture
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between clients and candidates
Process Management
- Maintain accurate data in the ATS and CRM systems
- Ensure compliance with recruitment policies and employment laws
- Track pipeline activity and report on key metrics
Candidate Experience
- Guide candidates through the recruitment process
- Offer support with interview prep, career advice, and constructive feedback
- Act as a long-term career partner and advocate
Continuous Improvement
- Stay on top of recruitment trends and market movements
- Use data to evaluate and refine sourcing and placement strategies
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in full-cycle (360) recruitment, ideally across Marketing, Sales, Ops, or Tech
- Proven ability to assess candidates for cultural compatibility, not just skills
- Experience working with UK-based roles and understanding of UK geography and infrastructure
- Familiarity with ATS and CRM platforms like Zoho, Bullhorn, or HubSpot
- Experience managing client relationships and stakeholder expectations
- Bachelor’s degree (required); certifications like CIR are a plus
- Excellent communication, organisation, and data analysis skills
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
