They’re looking for a passionate and driven Outreach Specialist to help expand their network, foster partnerships, and increase brand awareness in the rapidly evolving financial landscape. As an Outreach Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in growing their brand by developing and executing strategic outreach campaigns. You will focus on building meaningful relationships with potential partners, influencers, and stakeholders in the financial and investment sectors. Your efforts will directly contribute to increasing our client’s reach and visibility, enabling more people to access the exciting investment opportunities they offer.

This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to connect with key influencers, financial bloggers, media outlets, and partners in the fintech and investment sectors
  • Research and identify relevant outreach targets including financial institutions, wealth management firms, and investment-related platforms
  • Craft and execute personalized outreach campaigns via email, social media, and other communication channels
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure outreach efforts support lead generation, client acquisition, and overall business growth
  • Track the success of outreach campaigns through KPIs and metrics, providing regular reports and insights to optimize future efforts
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new outreach opportunities
  • Manage and maintain a database of contacts and partnerships, ensuring timely follow-ups and relationship-building activities

Skills, Experience & Requirements

  • Proven experience in an outreach, PR, or business development role, ideally in the fintech or financial services industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport and nurture relationships
  • Familiarity with outreach tools, CRM systems (e.g., BuzzStream, Pitchbox, HubSpot), and social media platforms such as LinkedIn
  • Knowledge of investment opportunities, financial products, and an understanding of the fintech landscape
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Analytical mindset with experience in tracking campaign performance and using data to inform strategies
  • A creative problem-solver who can think outside the box to drive outreach success
