Our UK client is a service-focused company that delivers exceptional commercial and property cleaning services across the South East. Since launching nearly a decade ago, they’ve built a reputation for reliability, professionalism, and high standards — thanks to a hands-on, people-first approach.
They’re now looking for an organised and proactive Operations Leader to support the delivery of cleaning services across their active sites. This role is ideal for someone experienced in multi-site coordination, client support, and operational systems, who thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Own the recruitment process for cleaning staff, from posting job ads to scheduling paid trial shifts
- Manage the shared department inbox and respond to client queries and complaints quickly and professionally
- Oversee the site audit process (approx. 50 audits per month)
- Scheduling, reviewing results, and flagging issues for follow-up
- Collaborate with the operations team to address performance concerns and develop action plans
- Approve weekly cleaner timesheets, checking for accuracy and flagging any inconsistencies
- Monitor the eLearning platform, ensuring staff complete required training
- Oversee uniform distribution and lone worker system compliance
- Work closely with your line manager to support the smooth day-to-day running of the operations team
- Play a key role in mobilising new sites, ensuring staff, equipment, and specifications are ready on time
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- 2–3 years’ experience in operations, customer service, or multi-site coordination
- Background in field-based industries such as facilities, cleaning, logistics, or security is ideal
- Experience managing client communication in a B2B environment
- Some exposure to recruitment tasks (shortlisting and phone interviews) is a plus
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and calm under pressure
- Strong written and verbal English skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Able to work independently while collaborating closely with remote colleagues
