Our UK based client is a fast-growing subscription-based company in the food and beverage industry, known for curating and delivering exciting monthly boxes to thousands of members. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a creative and talented Mid-weight Digital Graphic Designer to join their business. You’ll play a pivotal role in producing engaging digital content – from still images and animations to edited videos – that support their brand identity and drive performance.

With the imminent launch of a new brand identity, this is a chance to make your creative mark, working across multiple marketing campaigns and digital channels to deliver compelling and high-quality design work.

This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design and produce digital assets including static images, videos, and motion graphics for use across paid social campaigns, organic social media, email marketing, websites, and direct mail
  • Align all creative outputs with brand guidelines and overarching marketing strategies
  • Edit, retouch, and resize images for use across the eCommerce platform and other digital touchpoints
  • Collaborate with the Head of Creative Marketing and other team members including designers, copywriters, and marketing leads to execute campaigns
  • Contribute to ideation processes for monthly content and campaigns
  • Manage your workload independently, delivering high-quality work on time and in line with briefs
  • Act on performance data and feedback to optimise creative assets
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices, applying them appropriately to your work
  • Support occasional product photoshoots and contribute creatively where needed
  • Timely delivery of high-quality digital assets in line with briefs
  • Demonstrable improvements in campaign performance (e.g., CTR, conversion rates)
  • Positive contributions to ideation and execution of brand-enhancing content

Skills, Experience & Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in digital graphic design within a fast-paced, consumer-focused (ideally DTC) business environment
  • Demonstrated experience in motion graphics and video editing using Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar
  • Strong understanding of digital-first design principles, typography, layout, and colour theory
  • Experience working on social and paid media campaigns with an emphasis on performance-driven creative
  • Previous involvement in creative testing and content iteration
  • Bonus: Experience supporting or leading creative ideation within a collaborative marketing team
  • Bonus: Experience with product photography or assisting on photoshoots
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
