Our UK Based client specialises in communication skills training for individuals and organisations. Their mission is to empower people to communicate more authentically, kindly, and effectively, enhancing their interpersonal connections and overall life quality. Their courses are tailored to help individuals develop skills in areas such as effective communication, accent softening, public speaking, interview techniques, presentation skills, and mastering the British accent. They’re looking for a Junior Sales Executive to join their dynamic B2B team. This is a unique opportunity for someone with sales experience, a hunger for growth, and a desire to make a meaningful impact using their skills. As a Junior Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving new business and nurturing existing client relationships. You’ll work closely with their Commercial Director, Head of Sales and B2B team to identify opportunities, generate leads, and help scale their corporate arm. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves building relationships, and is passionate about personal development.
This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
Sales Development & Outreach
- Proactively identify and research potential clients in key industries to build a strong pipeline
- Conduct targeted outreach via LinkedIn, email, and calls to introduce the client’s services and secure meetings with decision-makers
- Use creativity and persistence to engage prospects and move them through the early stages of the sales funnel
Lead Qualification & Relationship Building
- Qualify inbound leads by understanding their needs, budget, and timelines
- Conduct initial discovery calls to assess client requirements and align them with the client’s offerings
- Nurture relationships with potential clients to create opportunities for conversion
Sales Pipeline Management
- Manage and track all outreach activities using CRM tool HubSpot
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to the sales pipeline, including follow-ups and next steps
- Collaborate with the Commercial Director to analyze outreach performance and refine strategies
Collaboration with the B2B Team
- Partner with the Commercial Director and/or Head of Sales to target high-value prospects and industries
- Support the development of compelling outreach materials, including email templates and presentations
- Share insights from outreach efforts to inform the team’s overall strategy and approach
- Contribute ideas to enhance client experience and sales efficiency
Client Experience Preparation
- Work closely with the team to ensure a seamless handover of qualified leads for closing
- Assist in preparing materials for client presentations and workshops as needed
- Act as an ambassador for our client, ensuring prospects feel valued and engaged throughout their journey
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Experience: 1-3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in learning and development, coaching, or a related field
- Hunger for Success: A proactive and driven individual who is eager to achieve and exceed targets.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and proficiency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator
