Our UK based Client is a Full Service Digital Marketing Agency. They are seeking a graphic designer to join their team. You will create and design a variety of visual assets to be used in social media and marketing campaigns.
This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Designing and developing products using brand assets
- Delivering assets to various teams and departments around the business and externally
- Keeping up to date and informed with new social media trends
- Understanding of licensing, rights, and copyright is an advantage
- Video editing/animation skills are a distinct advantage
- Working to tight deadlines, assisting the business in reactive content when necessary
- Manage a calendar of activity and ensure delivery deadlines are met.
- Support other marketing functions with your expertise as required.
- Handing all data files, ensuring organisation is clear and manageable, and content is catalogued and secure
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Proven record in creating graphics and photo editing with examples by showreel or portfolio
- Great knowledge and capabilities in Adobe Creative Suite; Mainly Photoshop & Illustrator
- Ability to turn around projects with short lead times and tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a professional environment and represent the company in a suitable manner
- Outgoing and confident personality, able to work with and alongside new people with ease
- Deep understanding of the Adobe Creative suite, specifically Photoshop.
- Confident and up to date with visual style trends and an eagerness to maintain this knowledge.
- Demonstrable marketing experience from a fast-growth company.
- Exceptional English proficiency coupled with excellent writing skills.
- Excellent collaborator and eager to develop.
- Creative and willing to take on challenges, rooted in data, and happy to discuss data-backed decisions.
- Organized and methodical in your work without compromising creativity.
- Last but not least, you should be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple complex workflows whilst also reporting on their success and maximizing growth opportunities where they present.
