They are seeking a Digital Marketing Executive to support the execution of their digital marketing strategy, working closely with the Marketing Manager to drive brand awareness, generate high-quality leads, and contribute to overall business growth. This is a hands-on role where creativity meets commercial focus — ideal for a proactive marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Content & Branding
- Work with the Marketing Manager to create engaging content, sales aids, case studies, presentations, and campaigns that position the business as an industry leader.
- Ensure all content and branding remain consistent across digital platforms.
- Maintain up-to-date product data sheets, guides, and support material.
Social Media Management
- Plan, create, and manage the social media calendar including content drafting, scheduling, approval, and publishing.
- Monitor engagement metrics and adjust strategies for improved results.
- Identify industry-relevant trends and propose innovative content ideas.
- Support Account-Based Marketing campaigns targeting specific audiences.
- Monitor competitor activity to identify opportunities for performance enhancement.
Website & SEO/PPC
- Create and optimise SEO-friendly website content in line with brand and marketing strategy.
- Assist with PPC campaign implementation and tracking.
- Monitor website performance and report on traffic, lead generation, and ROI.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across digital channels.
- Produce actionable reports for the Marketing Manager, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
Skills, Experience & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar digital marketing role, ideally in the construction industry or B2B environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Creative, solution-focused, and commercially aware with a results-driven mindset.
- Skilled in social media management, content creation, and SEO/PPC.
- Confident using tools such as Adobe, SEMrush, WordPress, MetriCool, Google Analytics, and social media scheduling platforms.
- Highly organised and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small marketing team.
