Our client is a well-established UK-based technology company specialising in IT leasing and end-to-end device solutions. With over 40 years of experience in the sector, they provide flexible technology packages to businesses of all sizes—offering hardware, software, device management, and technical support services across the UK. They’re hiring a Digital Marketing Assistant to join their remote marketing team. In this role, you’ll support the delivery of digital campaigns, manage social media channels, update website content, and assist with marketing analytics. You’ll play an important part in maintaining a strong online presence and helping the team produce high-quality, accurate digital content. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, accurate, and excited about technology. The ideal candidate takes ownership of their work, collaborates well with remote teams, and is motivated to grow professionally in a marketing role.

This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule content for LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Monitor and respond to social media engagement via Hootsuite
  • Update the company website with product listings and blog content using WordPress (Elementor preferred)
  • Collaborate with the team to develop 3–4 blog posts per month related to IT and technology
  • Respond to Trustpilot reviews and escalate negative feedback as required
  • Maintain and update email contact lists
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of email newsletters (e-shots)
  • Track and analyse campaign performance metrics to support ongoing planning
  • Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across platforms

Skills, Experience & Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a digital marketing role
  • Strong written English skills suitable for writing blogs and social posts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience with WordPress; Elementor experience is a plus
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop (preferred)
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
  • Keen interest in IT and technology
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
  • Clear communicator and collaborative team player
  • PC or Mac with modern specifications (ideally dual screens)
  • Stable, secure high-speed internet connection
  • Mobile phone to check mobile optimisation of content
  • Dedicated, quiet home workspace
