Data Entry Clerk

Description

Our U.K based client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Clerk to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data in different databases and systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent typing skills, a keen eye for detail.

This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accurately inputting data into databases, spreadsheets, and systems from various sources
  • Reviewing and verifying data for accuracy and completeness
  • Updating and maintaining data in databases and systems as needed
  • Performing regular data backups and ensuring data security
  • Identifying and correcting data entry errors and inconsistencies
  • Generating reports and performing data analysis as required
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure data integrity and consistency
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures related to data entry and management
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information

Skills, Experience & Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar role
  • Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Proficient in using data entry software, databases, and spreadsheet programs (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Basic understanding of data privacy and confidentiality principles
