Our UK-based client, a fast-growing and innovative D2C lifestyle brand, is currently looking for a Creative Copy Manager to lead its copywriting efforts and elevate the brand’s voice across all platforms. As the Creative Copy Manager, you will be the driving force behind the brand’s copy and content, owning the tone of voice and messaging across a wide range of digital and print channels. Working closely with the internal creative and marketing teams, you’ll shape campaigns, inspire customers, and manage a junior copywriter, ensuring all content aligns with brand identity and business goals.

This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Write persuasive, creative, and brand-aligned copy for emails, landing pages, social media, blog posts, magazine articles, ads, and more
- Manage all copy workflows and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of creative assets
- Proofread and quality-check all copy to uphold brand standards
- Guide and mentor a junior copywriter to support their professional growth
- Collaborate with designers and marketing teams on concept creation and integrated campaigns
- Champion tone of voice across all customer touchpoints and help evolve messaging through testing and performance metrics
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- 3+ years in a senior copywriting or content role within a consumer-focused (preferably D2C) brand, ideally in food, drink, or lifestyle sectors
- Proven ability to write both short-form performance marketing copy and longer editorial content
- Experience in CRM/email marketing, especially for engagement and revenue growth
- A track record of tone-of-voice ownership and content leadership
- Comfortable managing other writers or junior creatives
- Strong grammar, spelling, and creative flair in language
- Confident working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- A passion for craft drinks or interest in the beverage industry is a plus
- Experience with brand refreshes or launches is a plus
