Computer Support Expert

Description

Our Client is looking to add a Remote Support Expert to their growing team, they are a small technology support and training company based in the UK and specialise in offering technology experts to help home users baffled by technology, and pride themselves on excellent customer service.

This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Remotely solve basic computer problems for home user customers, such as resetting passwords, installing updates etc
  • Remotely delivering training, explaining how to complete simple tasks such as sending an email or printing a document
  • Assessing the problem presented by the customer and escalating jobs that can’t be carried out remotely to the Digital Champions who can provide onsite support
  • Liaise with area manager to full-fill activities such as; annual computer health checks, printer installations, etc

Skills, Experience & Requirements

  • Extremely friendly and able to quickly build relationships with customers, happily chatting to them whilst working
  • Fantastic communication skills, explaining complex issues in really simple basic language that customers will understand
  • Extremely comfortable with Windows, Android and iOS. Ability troubleshooting Macs would be a bonus
  • Must demonstrate company values and behaviours which includes going the extra mile to ensure that customers are delighted with the service received
