They are seeking a Business Development Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about real estate investing, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven track record in sales or business development roles. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving growth by identifying and cultivating relationships with potential clients, promoting the benefits of our client’s software, and ultimately converting leads into customers.
This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting efforts to identify and qualify potential leads through various channels such as cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement
- Engage with prospects to understand their real estate investment needs and communicate how our client’s software can address them
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads, tracking all interactions in CRM systems
- Collaborate with the sales team to hand off qualified leads smoothly
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position our client’s solutions
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Proven experience in sales development or related role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Tech-savvy and proficient in CRM software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
- Knowledge of real estate investing principles (preferred but not required)
