As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Business Development Consultant to help us expand our client base and enhance our market presence. The Business Development Consultant will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, and developing strategies to enhance our recruitment services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the recruitment industry.
This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the recruitment sector
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and increase market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to align business development strategies with recruitment capabilities
- Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients, show-casing our services and solutions
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships
- Monitor industry trends and competitors to inform business strategies
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the recruitment or staffing industry
- Proven track -record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and market dynamics
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
