Our client is a boutique shop in the heart of London with an ever-expanding online presence. They are seeking a Brand Liaison and Digital Communications Assistant to join their team. They are seeking a Brand Liaison & Digital Communications Specialist to support the recruitment of new brand partners and maintain direct engagement with their loyal customer base. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated communicator with a passion for sustainable fashion, strong digital skills, and an eye for distinctive design. This dual-role position requires someone who can manage brand outreach, curate content, and maintain an engaging online presence that reflects the values and identity of the store.

This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
Brand Research & Liaison
- Conduct online research across websites, directories, and social media platforms to identify emerging sustainable fashion, homeware, and lifestyle brands
- Initiate email communication with prospective brand partners using HubSpot CRM, clearly conveying the store’s mission, concept, and value proposition
- Respond to brand queries and provide detailed information about the onboarding process and store expectations
- Schedule and manage meetings between the brand owners and the Founder using HubSpot tools
- Maintain a thorough and well-organised CRM record of all brand communications and outreach activities
- Build knowledge of the sustainable fashion industry to assist in curating a store that aligns with ethical values and premium design aesthetics
Digital Communications
- Update the store’s website homepage regularly using WordPress and Elementor, ensuring the visual layout reflects new arrivals, seasonal collections, themed edits, and upcoming events.
- Create and send out fortnightly newsletters using Mailchimp or Omnisend to announce new brand launches, product features, and in-store or online events.
- Ensure all customer communications are visually aligned with the store’s brand identity and written in a tone that reflects the premium, ethical nature of the business.
- Collaborate with the team to keep digital assets and promotions up to date and compelling.
- Monitor the performance of campaigns and update mailing lists and contact segmentation as needed.
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Previous experience in fashion, design, retail, or a relevant creative industry (formal or informal)
- Passion for sustainability, emerging brands, and independent retail
- Proficiency in HubSpot CRM or similar client relationship systems is highly desirable
- Experience using Mailchimp, Omnisend, or similar email marketing platforms
- Working knowledge of WordPress, with experience using Elementor for visual content updates preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with an ability to communicate professionally and personably
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Confidence managing multiple communication threads and updating digital content across platforms
- Self-starter who thrives working independently and as part of a small, collaborative team
