Our client is a recruitment agency that specializes in sourcing talent for the built environment sector. This includes recruitment for professional services such as surveying, project management, civil and structural engineering, building control and compliance, and building services engineering. They focus on delivering a personalized, people-oriented service, working with a wide range of clients from graduate-level roles to senior management positions. Their primary goal is to connect the best talent with the best opportunities in the construction and built environment industries, supporting projects across various regions in the UK. They are looking for a Team Resourcer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in proactively identifying and sourcing candidates across the temp business to meet the company’s staffing needs. This role will focus on uncovering temporary worker candidates, managing incoming vacancies, and providing billing teams with qualified candidates to introduce to clients.
This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Source and identify potential candidates for temporary roles
- Conduct phone-based outreach to assess candidate availability and gather information
- Qualify candidates and share their details with the billing teams
- Maintain and update candidate records in internal databases or spreadsheets
- Clean and manage the internal database by removing outdated or irrelevant records
- Utilize data feeds and internal sources to track candidate status updates
- Collaborate with billing teams to fill incoming vacancies
- Achieve daily/weekly targets for candidate sourcing and call volume
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Experience in a phone-based role or resourcing position
- Experience in a high-volume recruitment environment
- Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing large volumes of data and calls
- Proficiency in using databases, CRM systems (e.g., RDB), and spreadsheets
- High attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and data management
- Ability to work independently and meet daily/weekly targets consistently
- Comfortable with high call volumes and repetitive tasks
- Proactive, hard-working, and self-motivated
- Adaptable and open to training and mentorship
- Strong work ethic with a goal-oriented mindset
