Description
Our client is a trusted and experienced accounting firm who cater for accounting services to businesses across the United Kingdom. They specialise in providing live accounting and board-level support to businesses. They are looking for a Team Leader to provide administrative support to the entire team, ensuring the smooth operation of the Practice on a day-to-day basis. The ideal candidate is a multi-tasker with a proactive approach and excellent communication skills.
This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Schedule and organize team and client meetings, including booking facilities, preparing agendas, and recording minutes
- Manage the team inbox, respond to emails, and handle phone calls
- Accurately input data into relevant systems and databases
- Assist with sales and marketing activities, including maintaining customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Perform bookkeeping tasks, process invoices, manage credit control, and handle payment processing
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients and employees, ensuring a smooth transition
- Keep company policies and procedures up to date and ensure compliance
- Maintain the organization of the team drive and ensure all documents are properly filed and accessible
- Provide general administrative support as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the practice
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office:
- Word: Ability to create and edit text documents, create templates, and automate table of contents
- Excel: Ability to run and create functions, pivot tables, charts, and VLookups
- PowerPoint: Ability to create and run slideshows
- Proficient in Xero
- Experience with accounting software (beneficial)
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role
- Relevant qualifications in administration or a related field (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Self-learner with strong attention to detail
